Tim Murphy is an IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive (ICAE) and CEO of APX Operating Company, dba Boomers Parks. Boomers Parks owns six family entertainment centers and two water parks with locations in California, Florida, and New Jersey.

Tim launched his 35+ year career at Walt Disney World and has since served more than 150 entertainment, restaurant, and food & beverage brands across more than 10,000 locations in C-suite and senior positions.

Concurrently, he works in family entertainment for two private equity firms: Cerberus, operating CEO (North America), and The Carlyle Group, Board Director (Latin America). He is an expert at leading turnarounds, improving profitability, creating new revenues, and negotiating acquisitions.

 

Tim is a successful charismatic hands-on leader providing face to public focused on results, maximizing CAPEX, improving corporate culture, and building strong teams with core values, vision, expectations, exceptional guest service and innovative risk taking.
